How much do you charge?

Standard service fee is $40/hr for up to 80 Guests (Gratuity INCLUDED)***Additional charges apply based on extra services required, but EVERY CUSTOMER GETS AT LEAST ONE OF MANY DISCOUNTS. See "Discounts" section for details.


***Events over 80 will be charged an additional $2.50 per 10 additional guests per hour.  Events 4hrs or less (including setup/cleanup) will be charged a flat $150 fee (or $140 with tip jar).


Do you require a deposit?



Can you provide a portable bar if needed?

Yes, we can provide a 6" portable bar table with fine linen. The cost for this is $25 for 1 table and $40 for 2 tables for this.



What am I expected to provide? 

What supplies will the bartender bring?

The customer is typically expected to provide:  Alcohol (mandatory, we CANNOT provide alcohol), ice (1.5lb/person recommended), garnishes, bar area, coolers (the more, the better), one dry waste basket, and one liquid waste bucket/bowl/etc. for each bar station.  The bartender will provide the all necessary bartools including bar mats, shakers, pouring spouts, mixer containers, wine keys, bottle openers, and plastic cups.  Mixers, fruit garnishes, ice, and bar table can be furnished at an additional charge (see "Service Rates" tab)


What if I need help planning the amount of supplies I need?

Dr. Mix-A-Lot, LLC can provide a consultation for party planning for a $20 service fee .  This fee is automatically charged for all weddings and all events with a guest count over 149 people


How much notice is needed in order to book an event?

Dr. Mix-A-Lot, LLC can provide bartenders within 3hours of an event.  However, all events booked 48hrs or less before an event are subject to a $20 convenience fee.  No exceptions.


What if I need more than one bartender?

Dr. Mix-A-Lot, LLC can provide up to 4 bartenders per event at $150 each . Additional charges apply. Visit "Service Rates" section for details.


Can you provide food servers too?

Of course!  All bartenders have food service experience as well, and can double as food servers.  Dr. Mix-A-Lot, LLC can provide servers $150 each.


What if I want the bartender to make specialty or theme cocktails for my event?

Dr Mix-A-Lot, LLC can make any specialty cocktails (a cocktail with 2 or more liquors; ex: Long Island, Margartia, Sex on the Beach, etc.) for an event for a additoinal $5/hr fee to make an unlimited amount. Frozen or Hot Drinks are $7/hr for unlimited service.   See "Service Rates" Section for details.


Do you provide discounts for services?

Yes, See "Discounts" section  for details.


Is there a mimimum or maximum time limit I can request for a party? 

No.  However, there is a minimum $150 total service charge for parties lasting less than 3 hours, which includes time for setup/cleanup.


How did you get into your line of work?

Founder and Head Bartender, Anton Dawson, bartended part time for two years both full-time and part-time after graduate school for some extra income while looking for work.  After gaining experience in both retail bars and high-class catering, he decided to strike out on his own in freelancing, tapping into his network of experienced and skilled bartenders along the way to help cover our ever-growing number of events.  We have been in business since 2014 and are loving every minute of it!  We're sure you will too!!
